Sorry we are getting lazy.

Hello all, I know we haven't added anything much lately, but we have been pretty busy with Xander and trying to get over a cold that he has had for almost 3 weeks now. Good thing that he is so darn cute especially in the middle of the night when he wakes up screaming because he cant breath very well. JayLyn and I are still adjusting to the whole parent thing but we love it still the same and wouldn't change it for the world.

He holds his head up so well and has pretty much from day 1.

He loves to have his hands up by his face when he sleeps, it's so adorable.

More Pictures

Just wanted to add a few more pictures up here so that everyone can see how cute Xander is. Today has been a little bit of a rough day on Xander and both of us. Xander had his circumcision done today and all I have to say is that I sure am glad that procedure is done when we don't remeber any of it because otherwise I think that every son would seriously hold a grudge against thier parents for a very long time. Mom couldn't handle it and waited in the lobby and I think next time I'll join her because once was enough to satisfy my curiosity. On the plus side though, he is only one ounce shy of his birth weight at one week so he is doing well in that department.

Hangin out with Daddy

He makes some of the weirdest faces sometimes (JayLyn calls this one the grimmace)

Dad is starting to look a little out of it.

He sleeps just like dad does, mouth wide open.

What everyone was waiting for

We just got home from the hopsital and I figured I had better get this information up for everyone that was waiting semi-patiently for it. Xander was born on Tuesday February 19th @ 6:00 pm. He weighed in at 8 lbs 7 oz and measured 20.5 inches long. The labor was not nearly bad as it could have been. We ended up going in at 9 am and they started her on the pitosin at 10:30. At 11:30 Dr Penney broke JayLyns water and then the really good contractions started. By 12:30 JayLyn decided to have the epidural and was much happier from that point on. At around 5:35-5:40 she started pushing and then after about 20 minutes Xander was born.

Well on to the part everyone really wants, the pictures..

Xander is comming

Just thought that I would throw up a quick update. JayLyn went to the Dr. office today and they decided that she was fully efaced and about 5 cm dialated but because of the way her uterus is tilted that Xander is having a hard time dropping down properly. Because of this, it is stressing him slightly and so the dr. decided that tomorrow morning he is going to induce her labor and get this over with. So at 6 am tomorrow we will be heading into the hospital to have the baby!!! We are pretty pumped about and slightly freaked out, but not to bad and mostly excited. Well I am gonna go and try and get some sleep.
